Student Government The Avon High School Student Government, advised by Mr. Nedovich, was very successful this year. The Homecoming week and dance were enjoyed by the stu- dent body. Student Government raised money, some of which was used to buy new equipment for Newington Childrens' Hospital. Student Government serves as one of the most important factors in organizing student ac- tivities throughout the year. National Honor Society The National Honor Society is an organization which this year, through an Italian dinner, raised money for the scholarship to be awarded at graduation. The Honor Society was led this year by officers Mark Ostrowski, Mary K. Talbot, Eric Pandiscio, and Kirsten Spackman, with the aid of Miss McBride, the adviser. Mark Ostrowski and Lori Davis have been nominated to receive the National Honor Society Scholarship of S1000. Mark Ostrowski - President of Honor Society.

Advised by Mrs. Devlin and edited by Debbie Dupont, David Choy, Mary Foster, and Martha Morgan, this is the magazine's 20th year of existence. The publication allows students to share their literary, ar- tistic, musical, and photographic accomplishments. Revelation The school newspaper Ftevela- l tion informs the student body of events in a most professional manner. Much effort goes into each issue, as is evidenced by the outstanding achievements of the staff. Special editions in- cluded a Homecoming issue and a Winter! Holiday issue. Front Ftow: M. Clark, J.
