Participating in the Christmas Parade, Veterans ' Day Parade, and the Horn Toad Derby kept the band busy this year. The practice that went into these performances proved to be worthwhile when the band received a rating of excellent at the Visalia Band Festival. The spring concert, a delightful rendition of songs both old and new, was thoroughly enjoy- ed by all of Avenal. Chorus Snaps 61
