KCLASS PRGPHECYX -asp' ,,5g Last night I was sitting by my window, gazing at the stars, thinking of some of the class of '49, when Lora Fowler came by in her rocket, and asked me to take a journey afar to visit some of our friends. Upon our arrival at the first star, I recalled the happy giggles of Arnold Russell and G. W. Hughes, when I saw them working as partners on the famous Sandy Acres Farm. They informed me that, living next door, on the same star, was Jack Allen and Sybel Manerg Coach and Nurse combination! The first thing we see on the next star is a shining neon sign which reads nPark Avenue Pool Roomn, owned by Jay Lee Stewart, Lelton Fuller and Herschel Lee Jackson. They seem to be doing a lot of business, which leaves very little room for other occupations, so we sail to the next star where we find a quite little neighborhood surrounding a small steepled church where Milan Lowery is pastor. Peggy Sivley accompanies him as song leader. Gertrude Jett, and Jerry Woodall are partners in a millinery shop in Brazil. I hear that Lucene McRight's nursing course did her some good after all. She seems to be making it alright with her family nursing. We see Dorothy Rigel and Sharon Nelson, dainty little College Debutantes, with their heads all bent over a book. Crammlng like they use to do in high school, I suppose. On the next star, we see W. V. Wallace, a famous brain surgeon, studying for a very serious operation. Hardy Haley, his helper, seems to be progressing with the same skill. Roy and Jeanette Austin are happily contented at 307 Sth Avenue cn the next star. Faye and Lamar Millwood are partners in nThe Mlllwood Barber and Beauty Shop . 'Ihey seem to be doing O. K. We see Elizabeth Black in college studying to be a nurse. I visited Ann Linderman, a dainty little housewife on due next star, and she told me that Annette Blackwell was a famous dress designer in New York now. Jean Landers is a commercial teacher in the Austlnville High School, and By the way! Billy Ayers iF'princ1pal there. On the next star I see a group of homemakersg among them are Norma Jean Case, Sue Baker, Rachel Mason, Martha Lou Guyse, Gertrude Black and Mildred Irick. Willie Mae Herbert is a nurse in California at the present. Just around the corner on a bright little star, we see a large business college, and in the first dormitory, we find Norma Jean McEnt1re and Twilight McWhorter, who are studying to be stenographers. Dorothy Harden holds the position as assistant manager at F. W. Woolsworth 5 8: lO gi store. Jean Rice and Ruth Campbell have adjoining apartments on Main Street ln Washington. Josephine Standridge and Dorothy Nell Garner are stenog- raphers for a large business in New York City. Then we see Billie Earwood and Elna Daniel teaching music in a large Metropolitan Area. As we sail to the last star, we find Charlsie and Ruthie Jones waiting to sail back to earth with us where they have a position as opera singers at Coconut Grove Night Club, in Hollywood, California.
