Many factors have caused our school to rise to the prestigious position it now occupies among the small schools in Nevada. I cannot help but believe however, that much of the credit should be attributed to the abilities and efforts of the 1972-1973 student body. Especially this year, we have seen great strikes made in the areas of school pride and respect. Enthusiasm seemed to bubble out of the confines of the pep rallies and sweep rampaging all over the facility. Every class seemed to be caught up in the current exhibited by our athletes and cheer- leaders. Every action teemed with the acceptance challenge and the determination to triumph. Your yearbook, The Castilleja, is a silent tribute to your success. I hope that each student con- tinues in this fine fashion. Congratulations on a job well done. Respectfully, y James F.
