We would also like to extend our thanks to the people of Austin for the support which they have always been willing to give to our school. Our students feel that special recognition should be given to: Mr. Swede Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Daniels, and Mrs. and Mrs. Ed Vigus. 2 FACULTY AUSTIN, FACULTY, 1965 MR. DAVID CALAWAY Phys. Ed. This a fine annual and the first truly representative Castilljea I have knowledge of. It is representative in that members of all four classes held positions on the staff instead of it being strictly a Senior production. It is also representative in that all, not one or two or a few, members of the staff contributed to its success. This is a good example of what a cooperative effort can produce. I would also like to offer my congratulations for your in- corporation of new ideas. Not being afraid of change and not being bound by outdated traditions is a mark of real progress. Extra-curricular activities should always be aimed at providing for educational experiences unavail- able in the regular classroom situations. I believe that all of you have profited educationally from being a part of this staff. Congratulations on a job well done. 5 CLASSES SANDRA COON came to Austin in the eighth grade.
