FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY After a tough initiation, the freshman class survived with seven students. These were Shori Smith, Linda Fields, LaVonne Brace, Lloyd Jackson, Don Bishop, Wayne Testolin, and Jerry Ostberg. All the students graduated from the eighth grade at Austin, except Shori Smith who came from Utah. Top students of the class were Jerry Ostberg, Shori Smith, and LaVonne Bruce. Lloyd, Jerry, Don, and Wayne played J. V. basketball. Linda, LaVonne, and Shori played volleyball. The class president is Wayne and the class representative is Lloyd. 16
