The Austin High School Broncos had one of their most suc- cessful years of basketball in quite a long time when they j finished the 1959-60 season with a 6-11 record. The Broncos ! were coached by Rodney Smith. The team consisted of three letter men--co-captains George Agnor and John Dory, and John Aria, a sophomore plus five freshmen—Billy Burton, Stanley Hooper, Jerry Anderson, Larry Clayton, and John Harp. The Broncos will lose John Dory and George Agnor. The boys had the following average points per game: Agnor, I6.I4.; Dory 6.6; j Hooper 1+.5; Burton 1+.5; Potts 3.6; Aria 3.2 j With i+ lettermen returning and the addition of Tony Man- zini from the grammar school, a rise in the basketball fortunes should continue.
