nn 55 and if ,T I'C . ,5 rw' THE HUUN DAW6 The Houn' Dawg became our mascot in 1917. During World War I a division composed of soldiers from the Aurora area was enroute to France. When they were in Tennessee, a hound dog was found by these men. The men then took the dog with them to France as the mascot of the newly named HHoun' Dawgn division. After the war this dog was brought hack to Aurora and became our school mascot. The Honn' Dawg has remained as our school symbol. In sports our team is known as the HHoun' Dawg Team. We are proud for our school to be known as theHHoun'Dawg Schoo1.H 3' ? 'z Schooi. A 5 , h 1-' Z,e 'l - - ' : ...fn-vez. 1 I lifjgf
