SENIOR CORDS This group of Seniors let their imaginations run wild in making and designing their Senior Cords. Yellow corduroy-was chosen as the basic material for the skirts. The figures painted on the cords represent almost anything from the class insignia and Red Devil booster slogans to mortar boards in anticipation of graduation. On the backs of their cords, they painted cartoon characters such as. Little Abner, B.C., Woody Woodpecker, and Snuffy Smith. This group consists of: Rosemary Taylor, Melinda Walker, Norma Woodward, June Dowers, Tish Trester, Barbara Swango, Ann Lange, Vonnie Alfred, Pat Patton, Margaret Elbrecht, Joan Von Luhrte, Barbara Irons, Judy Cutter, Janet Hizer, Martha Jackson, Pat Karsteter, Nancy Powell, Linda Peterson, Bonnie Fox, Phee Petscher, Joan Lyons, Judy Schumacher, Carol Diefenbach, Carolyn Morling, Jerry Schmidt, and Frank McMullen. Classes, in your eyes the underclassman of Aurora seem so many faces in rows, but to us, each is worthy of note in his own right. Here, from these unexperienced minds, will come the future citizens of the World. True, they may never become famous, but in their way as good citizens each will make his country and community a better place in which to live.
