flaaanf' Glance at the Senior billboard, our fa- vorite slogan will catch your eye- The 56 of ,56.', Our section of the AHS Highway is completed. W'e started laying the roadbed four miles back on September 2, 1952. Our first Hraisel' came October 2 with our initiation into AHS. Climaxing a never- to-be-forgotten year was the Promg our theme was Mr, Sandman. Our over- time work was rewarding, the candle- lighted banquet and Ken Maurer's music made wistfully sweet memories. Our last mile was the happiest. Vile were big wheels g that's what the Fresh- men repeatedly reminded us on Initiation Day. Throughout the year, we were inter- rupted by service-men, employnient tests, and cap-and-gown rentals. VVe took a holi- day with payn to Omaha March 13. Our play, Professor, How Could You! was the best ever. All along our highway we have left the marks of achievement in Ath- 12 Robert Daniel George Allen Bockmann, Presid Clayton Burke Walter, Vice-Presu LaVerda Marlen Fowler, Secretal Wanek, Treasurl
