' Wqfxfe To the Students of the Aurora High School This brief message is one of the few opportunities I have had this school year to commend you on your accom- plishments. Your successes during your school years have been many, and in the years ahead will represent for you, not only cherished memories, but the foundation upon which you can build a happy, useful life The fail ures and disappointments you have experienced can also be valuable stepping stones toward greater accomplish ment if you but choose to use them toward that end Your yearbook will provide a means of recalling happy experiences as you look back at your school years from the vantage point of the years that now lie some distance ahead I compliment you on the work of this school year, and hope that this book will serve to keep those fine activities in which you have had a part, always vivid in your memory It has been a real pleasure to have had a chance to work with you and to share in your experiences My sincere wish is, that the years ahead hold for you adventure, accomplishment, and happiness, and that you will look back upon this year as among the most pleas ant and worth while of your life W C Hinkley Superintendent of Schools NJ . - O . v 0 I . Wim ' xgjfwfxfe Students of Aurora High School You are at the present time experiencing some changing concepts regarding school life. Most of these changes are the result of increased enrollments, such as: l. inability to know everyone in school, difficulty in the task of having all students and every faculty member interested in each school function, training of more student leaders to maintain the right kind of student morale, the problem of having the students sense their needs in a growing school situation, and the danger of having our school program lag, thus encouraging students to seek interests apart from the school It is the responsibility of each of you to take an active part in our activities, to become acquainted with and to assist students when they enroll in Aurora High School, toeexplore the offerings of our school from the standpoint of facilities, courses, and activities in order that your high school life will be important to you, and to foster and to work hard for any school undertaking which will improve or make more significant school living in Aurora High School K L Dunbar Principal 2.
