1 A 'C' WMM? To the Students of Aurora High School: This annual is a written and pictorial record of a most sig- nificant year in the history of Aurora High School. This having been the first year in our new building, it presented you with challenges, and the extent of your participation in meeting these challenges has been a basis for possible future successes. Coupled with the task of laying the groundwork for a more complete school program are the problems of orienting more than twentyhfive per cent of our student body who moved to Aurora this year and the difficulties brought about by a stepped up national military program. It requires time to establish loyaltiesg to stabilize the thinking of high school students beset by so many changesg and to point clearly the direction of our purposes. It is through the cooperative efforts of you students that good school attitudes become rooted. You are to be commended for the interest shown in facing our mutual problems. Yours for continued success, K. L. Dunbar 4 ir. at

sw M The year 1950-Sl has been a year of significant occasions and events. we shall remember it as a challenge to the best that is in us, a challenge to meet squarely and with forthright determina- tion the problems that flce us at local, national and international levels. De- pending upon how well we meet that chal- lenge, our school, our city, our state and our nation will progress or lose ground. I want to commend the student body of the Aurora High School for the many fine activities in which they have engaged and for the fine spirit of co-operation that has existed between students and fac- ulty in the interest of the development of an interesting and meaningful school program. lt is my sincere wish that you will remember l9EO-Sl as one of the happiest and most eventful years of your lives, and that the challenges presented by the problems you have flced will have made of you better men and women for l finer world to come. .U71WZ!,7 -35 4 E-Q
