,,...l..- N 0 FICER CDR Robert E. Brady, USN l Commander Robert E. BRADY, USN, was born in Minersville, Pennsylvania, on 16 August 1926. Upon graduation from high school in June 1944 he enlisted in the Navy and then one year later was accepted for en- trance into the U.S. Naval Academy. He received his commission as Ensign upon graudation from the academy in' 1949, and spent his first commissioned tour of duty onboard the USS MINDORO QCVE-1205 operating in the Atlantic and Mediterranean out of Norfolk, Virginia. In the years 1952 thru 1957 Commander BRADY served in the USS RANKIN CAKA-1035, which he helped place in commission, and the USS HAWKINS QDDR-8735. Shore duty during this period included two yea1'S H1 the Bureau of Naval Personnel during which time he acted as Washington aide to Fleet Admiral W. F. HALSEY, Jr. As a lieutenant, Commander BRADY commanded the USS BOLD QMSO-4245 in the Atlantic and with the Sixth Fleet from 1958 - 1960. After another tour in the Bureau of Naval Personnel, in the Destroyer Place- ment Section, he reported to the USS JOHN R. PERRY CDE-10345 Key West in May 1962 and served as her Commanding Officer until May 1964 when he was ordered to duty on the staff of Commander, Cruiser Destroy- er Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet as Force'ASW Officer. Commander BRADY reported to the AULT from this tour on the Type Commander's staff and assumed command on 21 October 1966. Commander BRADY is married to the former Helen Jean BERKEIHISER of Coatesville, Pennsylvania. They have two children Michael and Patricia. , COMMANDING

A -iw 2 AP IN? 'k'x Q S g wx - n. 1 ea- ,ev ul! ,Nr f LCDR James E. Law, USN ,X 1'? LCDR James E. Law was born in Newark, New Jersey on 16 January 1936. Following high school, he entered Washington and Lee University and in June 1957 received his commission as an Ensign under the ROC program. His first duty station was the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington, D.C. In the years 1958 through 1961, LCDR Law served in the USS JOHN R. PERRY QDE- 1034D which he helped place in commission and in which he became Operations Officer. In 1961, he became Executive Officer of the USS EXULTANT CMISO-4415. LCDR Law attended U.S. Naval Post Graduate School in 1962 and became an instructor in the school in 1963. Leaving Post Graduate School, LCDR Law became Operations Officer aboard USS DAHL- GREN QDLG-129. After 1 year aboard USS DAHLGREN, his tour was split and he was trans- ferred to the USS AULT in December 1966 as Executive -Officer. LCDR Law supervises all administration aboard the ship. He is responsible for the handl- ing of all official correspondence, the timely submission of all reports by AULT, and the per- sonnel administration aboard the ship. LCDR Law is also responsible for the safe navigation of the ship as the ship's navigator. LCDR Law is married to the former Betty George of Brunswick, Georgia. They have two children, Jimmy and Cindy.
