Class Prophecy In the year 2026 you'll find the class of 1977 gathering at the poolside of the well-remembered Heritage Inn. Welcoming the arrivals is Randy Wilson, head bartender and bouncer of the Blue Max Lounge. Randy has been busily trying to convince the manager that the Augusta kids have changed over the past 50 years. Denise Burke, the helpful maid, is setting wheelchairs around the poolside for her fellow classmates. Those who wanted to swim were left with special attachments so they would float. First arriving is Mr. Easton, shepherd of the flock. Right behind, driving the famous black blazer, is Lane Busch, co-owner of the Busch and Busch Co. , former Amheiser Busch Co. Dana Isakson, arriving in another new pick- up, has obtained a new pastime. She's running a used-car lot selling Dan's one-month used pick-ups. Some of the earliest models are selling for antique prices. Along with Dana comes Betty Malatare who has taken time off from her modeling career in England. She has become Twiggy II. Linda Wood has left her family band to become Mark Eden's number one model. They have recently received the Nobel Prize for the BIGGEST accomplishment. Speeding in is good ole Myrtle and Robin Young. How come she is here so early? She's now manufacturing more Myrtles so the world can.slow down to her pace. Arriving from Augusta together are Pat Martin and Sue Bond. Sue has taken over the family Exon business and is still wearing her famous red Exon jacket. Pat Martin, who has finally gotten over her hatred for Augusta, is now the mayor there. She specializes in complaints. Rolling in on a piano comes Fairfields' local entertainer, Debbie Hammel. She's here to provide her fellow classmates enjoy- ment for the evening. Anne Lundberg, alias Jaws , arrives with her loyal companion, Jeri Shoemaker. Jeri, with a puzzeled look on her face, is asking Anne Lo explain her latest joke. Naturally, Jeri doesn't understand. Not too far behind is Tampa Bay Buckeneer's quarterback, Chad Fenner, and manager, Jerry Erickson. Both are in extremely good moods because of a streak of good luck in their last game. They only lost by one point. Sheryl Bossing arrives next telling us that the rivalry between Bossing Fried Chicken and Kentucky Fried Chicken had finally ceased with the marriage of her to Colonial Sanders III. Late as usual is Milford Wearley whose only excuse was, I had to milk the cow. Now that the class of '77 are all gathered at the poolside, they are receiving their advanced glasses of Plop, Plop, Fizz, Fizz. Oh! What a relief it is... 15
