Who's Who In 1962 Who's Who in 1962 aims to include brief life sketches of the Senior Class of 1952, ten years from now. All members are successful in the ventures into which they have found their way. Carol Nadler--after graduating from A. H. S. took her long awaited trip to California. She found she liked the climate and sunshine so well she stayed. She is now a secretary to one of the movie producers in Hollywood. Betty Thilking--is now a great concert pianist touring the world. At present she is in England. She always enjoyed playing during her years at A. H. S. Jeanette Thilking--now a dress designer in London, England, she finds it a wonderful career. Last year she designed the dress, which was first shown in one of the largest dress shops in Augusta. Ellen Berg--is still employed as an airline hostess which she began as a career after graduating. She has traveled the entire world over. She still comes back to Augusta for her vacation. We don't know if it's to see the city itself or her old beau Hubert. Roland Fuhr--who had a secret ambition of being an airline mechanic went to New York to fulfill it. He seems to be doing very well for himself. Forrest Dale Dieckhaus, known as Rusty to his friends, having been en- countered more than once during his years at A. H. S. by State Patrolmen, decided to become one himself. He now drives down the highways of Missouri tracking down the speeding drivers or one without tail lights. Roger Buenemann--one of our more wittier classmates, known to us all as Beanie, is now a great comedian in Hollywood. He recently made a personal appearance in one of the 'lar gest theaters of Augusta, for a premiere of his newest picture. Seen with him were his beautiful blonde wife and twin daughters, who seem to have the personality of their father. Douglas Sutton--is a Sailor now, stationed in California. Last week he spent his furlough in Augusta. Doug is now Adrniral of the battleship Missouri. Richard Struckhoff--Richie to most of us, set as his goal to be a world plane pilot, and he has achieved it. He makes regular stops in Augusta's Airfield. Wilfred Wissmann--who had a yearning to drive a Pacific Intermountain Express KPIED truck in his school days, is now employed in that field of work. 12

Senior Class History ' The histories which are recorded on the preceding pages are personal histories, but there is yet to be recorded the history of the Senior Class as a whole. p When we began our high school education in 1948, we had an enrollment of fifteen students in our class. Our class was well represented in the activities of the school during that year, taking part in basketball, softball, and glee club. ln our Sophomore year, we were unfortunate in losing one member of our class, Raymond Geiger. We were fortunate, however, in receiving a member, Patricia Crafton. This year again we were well represented in the activities of the school. When we became Juniors, we lost one member of our class, namely, Patricia Crafton. We gave our Junior play, entitled, Times Up, in which most of the members of the class took part. The girls of the class were ribbon girls for the Crowning of the Queen. In April of our Junior year, we sponsored the annual banquet and prom for the Senior Class. This year as Seniors, we received a new member in our class, Douglas Sutton. The King and Queen for the Carnival were chosen from the Senior Class. Ellen Berg was chosen Queen and Wilfred Wissmann was chosen King. The attendants were also out of the Senior Class, namely, Carol Nadler escorted by Royce Neal Stelzer, Jeanette Thilking escorted by Richard Struckhoff, Betty Thilking escorted by Rusty Dieckhaus, and Betty Ann Oberdick escorted by Roger Buenemann. This year, also, there has been a lot of work getting the 'yearbook ready for publication. Roland Fuhr is our Editor-In-Chief. 'We are 'very proud of our lVIemoria ' and we hope it will be one of the best ever published at A. H. S. ll

Roger Osthoff--one of the greatest farmers in our class. He is now retired and the owner of several large farms. He has quite a few farm hands working for him. But Roger still is an early riser to see that everything gets off to an early and good start. Royce Stelzer--now married and the father of two sons. Royce also known as Smoky liked Bookkeeping in A. H. S. so well, he is now a bookkeeper for a leading manufacturer in Chicago. Marvin Mallinckrodt--joined the U. S. Army shortly after graduating from high school. He has recently been promoted to a General. Betty Ann Oberdick--now living on a farm in Missouri. She met her husband at the International Livestock Show in Chicago. They are busy raising Angus Cattle. As yet they haven't reached their goal, a grand Champion animal. if 224 21051 Pk 251 fl' :lf :lf B24 Can You Imagine The Seniors not going to a show after class meetings.
