I, Diana Feeney, bequeath my ability to drive Go-Karts to Bonnie Spencer, Keep trying Bonnie, you ' ll win someday! I, Carol Frederick, bequeath my white corpuscles to John Saxton to fight future infection, and my seam ripper to Butch Baca and Mike Simon, so they will find it easier to put on their slacks. I, Gary Gerken, bequeath my ability to overcome my shyness and quietness around girls to Alan Kohart. I, Glen Grunden, bequeath my ability to eat as much as Jim Taylor to anyone who thinks that they can af¬ ford it. I, Marilyn Goodenough, bequeath my ability to lose weight to Pam Marvin. Class History In September of 1958, forty-eight anxious Freshman entered the gates of Auglaize Brown Local. Our advisors were Miss Williams and Mrs. Gillet. Those who were initiated and became full-pledged members of O. H. S. were: Jerry Aldrich, Rollie Andrews, Bob Baldwin, Ronnie Bauer, Mary Ann Belau, Jean Bidlack, Tom Boroff, Catherine Bott, Linda Breckler, Carolyn Brown, Dave Brown, John Bupp, Joe Butler, George Carnahan, Nylice Corneliussen, Klee Dangler, Brenda Dimock, Loretta Eblin, Elizabeth Farris, Diana Feeney, Carol Frederick, Gary Gerken, Dana and Marilyn Goodenough, Glen Grunden, Dianne Heller, Beth Ann Hornish, Steve Huff, Alan and Bonnie Keezer, Sharon Klein, Linda Kohart, Doug McBride, Kathy McCullough, Frank Merriman, Susan Mohr, Cheryl Mohr, Orval Mullen, Danny Pessefall, Barb Scherer, Linda Schilt, Dinah Schlegel, Mary Lou Schwaderer, Sue Shaffer, Elaine Ulam, Don Winchester, Viola Bradford, and Andrew Farris. Class officers for our Freshman year were: President, Steve Huff; Vice-President, Linda Kohart; Secretary, Carol Frederick; Treasurer, Loretta Eblin; and News Reporter, Dave Brown. We returned in September of 1959, as Sophomores. Our advisors were Mr. Bowsher and Mr. Cook. Those students not returning were: Frank Merriman and Andrew Farris. We gained four new students, Victoria Olvera, Larry Stork, Walter Thomas, and Jim Lawrence. The following students were class officers: President, Orval Mullen; Vice-President, Steve Huff; Secretary, Mary Lou Schwaderer; and Treasurer, Barb Scherer. The following September, 1960, we entered Auglaize-Brown Local as Juniors. We lost two students over the summer. They were: Elizabeth Farris and Dinah Schlegel. Our advisors, Miss McQuilkin and Mr. Woodring helped the class plan and present the Seniors with the Junior-Senior Banquet, Rendezvous of the Stars. On October 27, we presented our class play, In Spring the Sap, under the direction of Mr. Outland. Class officers were: President, Doug McBride; Vice-President, Steve Huff; Secretary, Carol Frederick; Treasurer, Mary Lou Schwaderer; News Reporter, Susan Mohr; Student Council Repre¬ sentative, Jim Lawrence. We received our class rings around Christmas time, and were just as proud as punch of them. In September 1961 we re-entered O.H. S. as Seniors, under the guidance of Mr. William Rohrs and Mr. Boyd. Those students not returning were: Dana Goodenough, Sue Shaffer, Linda Breckler, Carolyn Brown, Barbara Scherer, Walter Thomas, Larry Stork, Viola Bradford, Jim Lawrence transferred to Sidney, Ohio, and Jean Bidlack to Paulding High School. Senior class officers were: President, Steve Huff; Vice-President, Gary Gerken; Secretary, Carol Fredrick; Treasurer, Catherine Bott; News Reporter, Susan Mohr; and Student Council Representative, Doug McBride. We had money making activities to help finance our senior trip. We Seniors had our pictures taken in November 1961 and received them in December. We also received our announcements and name cards in early April. We Seniors presented our Senior class play, One Wild Night under the direction of Mr. Outland. The Seniors want to thank the Junior class which presented us with a lovely prom May 12. The Seniors graduated the night of May 24, 1962. 23
