4 BQ, With a team well-coached and imbued with a desire to win, Audubon s Vai sity produced an impressive 5-3-1 record during the '57 season. Their line play witnessed by record crowds, the A.H.S. team aimed for Conference Cham- pionship. However, the bad ubreaksi' en- countered in the Merchantville and Haddon- field games cost the' team the crown. The true success of the team lay in the last half of the season when the '5Creen Wavew de- feated Haddon Heights, Collingswood, and Overbrook, three traditional rivals. At the close of the season, Tom Samuel was named to the All-State Second Team while Billi' Osler and 6'Charlie', Aungst were selected to the Colonial Conference Second Team.
