were devoted In nur prnqress We, the members of the Yearbook Staff, on behalf of the Class of 1951, dedicate this issue of 'LLe Souvenir to a member of the faculty who, we believe, has done so much for our class. She was our Tenth Grade English teacher as well as a Sophomore and Junior class advisor. She has been actively interested in both the social and athletic activities of the school, and we feel, of our class in particular. Although we are now not ofliciallylconnected with her, we are sure she hasn't forgotten us and we know we haven't forgotten her. And so we dedicate our Le Souvenir to a constant advisor, companion, and friend--Mrs. Gwendolyn Pratt. MRS. GWENDOLYN C. PRATT X X x 42. 4 Z i i XXX XXSXX H i XXXX X XXXX X f lava Q I! ADMINISTH TIU MR. ERNEST SCHREIBER Supervising Principal The ugly shadows of a world at war again loom on the horizon. In the past, former grad- uates were successful in waging war but did little toward the establishment of a lasting peace. May you, the class of 1951 and the honored twenty' fifth graduating class of Audubon High School, contribute your share toward a practical formula for a better world for all people and peace. QW., E. Schreiber. MISS GRACE N. KRAMER Principal The year 195Of1951, a time when backward glances are in order, we also lookwforward to the future-your future and that of your Alma Mater -for it is here in Audubon High School that we learn to live in the present as well as to make preparation for living in the future. We glance with pride, not only over the past twentyfive years of progress and accomplishment in Audubon High School but also toward the next twentyffive years with keen anticipation in and anxiety for even bigger and better things to come. Grace N. Kramer. MR. PAUL M. DARE Assistant to Principal The members of the Class of 1951 are to be commended on the fine spirit and cooperation shown in continuing to uphold the Hne traditions which have been established during the past twenty' five years.
