Methods which foster unreasoned subservience weaken an organization, for they strike at the very source of its strength -the wide awake, thoughtful, self-appraising attitude on the part of the individual members. The highest ideals of search, forbidding any mere selfish quest, demand that all attainable values, particularly those of other personalities, be taken as best possible into account.
