The citizens, the stu- dents, the buildings themselves seem to find a sense of security in the established landmarks — in the buildings and campus, and in the ideals. Heritage, tradition, history all touch on the satisfied feeling that is Auburn, but a visitor walk- ing among the trees, warm red-brick buildings, and people won ' t feel Auburn. While Samford Tower Is around, So is Auburn.
