The Schoo The School of Agriculture graduates men with a knowledges of many varied fields. Today’s formers have to know more than just how to plow and harvest crops. The farmer is an engineer, accountant, conservationist. ana sanitation expert all rolled into one. He must fix tractors, keep records, save his soil, and keep his farm up to certain sanitary requirements. The School of Agriculture offers such varied subjects as: botany, dairying, animal and poultry husbandry. agronomy and soils, forestry, horticulture and entomology. The student’s choice of a subject is often a difficult one, but no mattor which ono is chosen the student will receive the best instruction possible. The Auburn graduate is sought by many of the top industries. Auburn's job is not just to turn out farmors. The undertaking is much greater than hat. The School of Agriculture exists for the purpose of training men to do more than farming as such. Agricultural engineering and agricultural administration are courses which train men for progressive and profitable careers as farmers or in industries which are indispensable to agriculture. The School of Agriculture has several bureaus closely allied with it. Tne bureaus assist the farmer who has not been able to acquire technical knowledge by going to college.
