ADMINISTRA In every institution the size of Auburn there must always be that corps of relatively unseen, unsung administrators whose jobs arc vital to the smooth functioning of the routine that the students so often merely take for granted. The recognition that can be given these few, who shoulder the worries of so many of us without even so much as receiving our thanks, is far too small. Conscious that some have been left out, the Glomcrata gives you ten whose jobs, bringing them into varying degrees of contact with the students, may be classified as administrative. C. W. EDWARDS W. T. INGRAM K. B. DRAUGHON C. W. Edwards, left above, is the college registrar. He knows more about the students than they know themselves. His office is the center of record keeping and information dispersal . . . W. T. Ingram, center above, serves as business manager of the whole college. Besides being accountant and purchasing agent of the school, Mr. Ingram serves as financial advisor to the President . . . R. B. Draughon, right above, executive secretary, has been classified as a ”BMOC with that real Auburn spirit.” His is the difficult job of being hatchet-burver for the students, faculty, and administration of the college . . . J. V. Brown, right, is the director of the Student Placement and Housing Service. His understanding and willingness to help have earned him the confidence and gratitude of many a student for whom he has solved employment and housing problems .. . 1251 j. v. BROWN
