AUBURN Vs DADEVILLE - September 23 Auburn suffered its first defeat against Dadeyille as celebrated quarterback Buddy Seay lead the Tigers to a l3-0 triumph. The first half was dominated by the Auburn running game as the Auburn Tigers rolled up L24 yards but failed to mark up a score. Seay set up the first TD on a 51-yard dash to the five and then scored from the two. A pass from Seay to Davis Caldwell in the final period netted the other Dadeville touchdown. AUBURN Vs ROANOKE - September 30 AHS went down in defeat against the Roanoke Tigers 7-0 in a rugged defensive battle. The game's lone score came early as Roanoke took the opening kick-off and marched to pay dirt. Fullback Bill Ragle made the touchdown from three yards out.
