Any boy who is or has been en- rolled in Vocational Agriculture may become a member of the Future Farmers of America. The purpose of the club is to develop character, train for useful citizenship, and foster patriotism through participa- tion in cooperative efforts. Activ- ities of FFA include assisting with the Halloween Carnival, sponsoring the FFA barbeque, entering the Public Speaking Competition, and participating in many other contests. Betty McChesney Future Homemakers of America is a national, state, and local orga- nization of girls in home economics classes. Members work to develop a better personality, and to be a better member of their family, school, and community. Auburn FI'IA's projects include making clothes for the Talladega School for the Blind, selling cookbooks, Visiting local nursing homes, giving Christ- mas gifts to a girl in Chalksville school, and furnishing the new home economics department.

G race Sublett TREASURER ..... . . . jean Todd Philpott Pep Club's purpose is to create interest and enthusiam in school spirit. The club has grown in number and in importance this year, and has had good attendance from both boys and girls. Pep Club has faith- fully supported the cheerleaders by pro- viding money for uniforms, helping decorate for home football games, and making other spirit boosters. Pep Club's main project is to sponsor the Powder-Puff football game between the junior and Senior girls.
