The school year 1955-56 will soon be ending. As it comes to a close, we must evaluate the past year's work in terms ofworthwhile accomplishments. The grades re- corded on the records in the office files cannot be used as the only in- dex ofprogress and success. Grades alone are not the only desired goals for the time we have spent here at school. To have shown real ad- vancement, we must have shown progress toward our personal goals and desires from lifeg we must have improved as citizens of our school and communityg we must have de- veloped a deeper understanding of our fellowmang we must have given our best efforts for every under- taking. If after a personal eval- uation, we can see improvement in these and similar areas, there has been progress. Each staffmember, patron, stu- dent officer and student has a job to do for school to be most mean- ingful. It is toward this end that our efforts must be directed. There are many individuals and many groups who have given their efforts in this directiong to them I would like to express appreciation. Space does not permit all that should be said, so to the student body, faculty and patrons, let me wish the best of everything that life has to offer. Sincerely, ,QW
