Highlighting the homecoming activities were a Thursday night bonfire rally and a 43-0 victory over Falls City Friday night. Western Days” was carried out as a theme for the Friday night dance with Wednesday being the official western day. During lunches, games were played in the gym. At the pep rally held downtown. Randy Gottula was guest speaker and juniors were announced as winners of the inches of spirit contest. During halftime. Julie Liewer was crowned queen by Steve Patras. A-Club president. Greg Andrew was proclaimed king during the dance. Music for the dance was provided by Pee Wee's Music Express. CLOCKWISE FROM ABOVE: I. King Greg Andrew. Leslie Thomas plays witch doctor on Safari Day during homecoming week. 8. Students gather at the bonfire to show their support and enthusiasm for the Auburn football game. 9. Homecoming was also one of their activities during the year. Pep Club members met at the country club for their final event. They ate dinner, announced next year's cheerleaders and officers, and presented awards. Among those receiving awards for high points were: seniors. Karla Armstrong and Jodi Graves; junior.
