 Murder transforms theatre to 1930 A Murder has been Arranged. an original mystery by Emyln Williams, converted the middle school auditorium to a deserted stage in London. 1930, for the spring play. The National Honor Society honored a select few of this year's juniors and seniors during an evening ceremony held in the media center. Members were chosen through secret ballot by the faculty. The only requirement needed for consideration was a cumulative grade point of 3.0. These students fullfilled the scholarstic requirement and showed themselves to possess three other basic qualities believed worthy of honor: character, leadership, and service. Four qualify for state speech meet Speech contestants participated in one-act play competition with the play The Acting Lesson receiving a II rating at districts. The following month students entered contests at Nebraska City and districts. Those students competing were: Steve Bath, poetry and interpretation of drama: Shauna Johnson, interpretation of drama.; Lisa Krueger, interpretafion of drama; Tom Liewer, informative public address. AH the above qualified for sfafe competition in Kearney with Steve Bath placing fifth in state.
