Spanish Club explores foreign cultures Spanish Club explored the many interesting cultures of the Mexican, South America and Spain. They made pinatas and had several fiestas. The members of the club went to Omaha and ate in the Old Market. Afterward they went to Gizmos and to the various other shops. Back in school, posters and murals were made to decorate the classroom. Trip to Lincoln highlights year for FHA FHA expanded activities to a variety of areas this past year. Members began the year with a Fall picnic and attended the district FHA convention at Filley. During the winter months they operated the concession stand during basketball games and ended the first semester with a Christmas party. Culminating the year was a trip to the state FHA convention at Lincoln and a spring camp-out, where new officers were installed. TOP TO BOTTOM: 1. Student Advisory Board issues letters SAB finished the ’80-81 year on a high note. The group was responsible for convocations and the establishment of the academic letter distribution. To be eligible for an academic letter a student must have been on the honor roll the third and fourth quarters of the previous school year and the first and second of the present year. The SAB members are: Shari Vaughn-president, Brett Schneider-vice-president, John Henning, Chris Delay and Julie Whisler-sr. class reps., Kathy Reeves, Brenda Lash, Vickie Colgrove-jr. class reps., Doug Kampe, Shauna Johnson, Peg Allgood-soph, class reps., Penny Taylor, Steve Patras-frosh. reps.
