The Math Science Club had a very successful year. The club raised money through their concession stand and by holding their annual soup supper and bake sale. New members were initiated during the ceremony at the middle school. Members attended meetings throughout the school year. The club is going to Washington D.C. this year. FCA members join hands in fellowship With the help from Mr. John Wetenkamp the Fellowship of Christian Athletes expanded their 81” activities. The group met once a week to discuss a Biblical chapter, sing songs, and enjoy refreshments. Trips were taken to Omaha where members attended concerts by Roger Cooper and comedian Mike Warnke. FCA spent a weekend in Fremont at the Weekend of Champions” competing with other FCA teams. The year ended with FCA hosting a Fun and Games night and a cookout. TOP TO BOTTOM: 1. Trip to Lincoln highlights year for FHA FHA expanded activities to a variety of areas this past year. Members began the year with a Fall picnic and attended the district FHA convention at Filley. During the winter months they operated the concession stand during basketball games and ended the first semester with a Christmas party. Culminating the year was a trip to the state FHA convention at Lincoln and a spring camp-out, where new officers were installed. TOP TO BOTTOM: 1.
