Honor Society Activities B Judi Latimer, President Honor Society membership is based on a grade point of 3.3 or above. 1 - Any student obtaining this grade average may become a member. Belonging to Honor Society is one of the highest honors attained in high school. This year the club held a candle light ceremony to initiate new members at the October meeting of the P-TA. They,aIso sponsored a car in the Home- coming parade and planned several educational field trips to universities. Although the club is an inactive one and is unable to sponsor dances or have money-making proiects, it encourages students to participate in school activities as well as maintain high scholastic standings. Commercial Club Activities The Commercial Club has been exceptionally active this year and the girls arrive as early as 8:00 a.m. to open the school store. Any Junior or Senior girl may qualify by earning points participating in school activi- ties. A total of 7 points at the end of each semester is necessary to remain in the club.
