ATKA's contribution, however, will doubt- less only assume its true proportions in the light of the future. The value of Antarctica, its stra- tegic locations, scientific possibilities and natural resources have 'yet to be fully assessed. Antarctica, the last frontier, is daily increasing in importance and ATKA will be remembered as having played an initial role in making this for- bidden continent accessible to man in his search for greater knowledge.
