Coach Jim Greenman did a tremendous job this year with the J.V. Basketball team. They showed a great amount of talent and played their hardest. This team will develop into a Spectacular varsity team next year, as they'll join the others with high hopes and continue playing with zest and hussle. Coach Jim Greenman quoted, Chet Smith and Darrel Tuggle were doing an excellent job, also Dane Austin was doing a superb job on the boards. F as s as ,gg . is will Coach of the Freshman Basketball T team was George Skip French. He chose eleven team players and one manager from the many freshmen boys that tried out. The members were chosen not necessarily because they were the best but a combination of how they worked with others. This quality showed more and more toward the end of the season. The team's practice began with a couple weeks of cross country running, they ran one and a half to two miles each day. Sev- eral of the members continued running 13' r N Q Jeff Marks makes two points in practice. through out the season. There were S S Frosh games usually twice a week, and S' by W on the other days the team practiced it their basketball skills in the gym.
