NEW FACILITIES FOR NEW CHALLENGES Returning students this fall hailed our new, Olympic-size pool, the result of the combined efforts of the people of Atascadero and the Greyhound student body. After more than a year of striving to raise the money, its ours, a11 ours. Greatest yet is the new gym, with its spacious basketball courts, COmplete with centercourt monogram and glass backboards. Also housed in the new building are wrestling and weight-lifting rooms, and an 80 by 50 foot all-purpose room for the girls. The lobby houses a modern snack bar that ministers to hungry Greyhound hordes. Did she hit it?

Auto shop has a new face, too, with Mr. Ralph Parkison, who shares with Mr. Hamann the task of turning eager young tinkerers into skillful young mechanics. A few yards east of the auto shop is the new wood shop, opened in September, '65.
