ADMIN ISTRATION With enrollment hovering around the 725 mark, the administration Chiefs never find themselves idle. Just scheduling Classes so that everyone or nearly everyone, can take the courses he wants is a major operation. As the school expands there's the problem of finding room for all the students. Every teacher clamors for moretequipment. More buses are needed. Students have problems. Decisions must be made. An observer wonders how a bustling school can possibly be kept running so smoothly. Students challenge obstacle course, swimming, new Spanish techniques, weight lifting, 8 period days; 7 new teachers are added to faculty; Cross Country takes league championship, comes in fourth in C.I.F. finals; Foote ball season a surprising success for all, big win over Righetti, first time ever; Rally Squad wins trophies, G.A.A. challenges litter problem; Frosh play a big part of AUHS; Sophomores move ahead, C.S.F. sells Greyhound book covers; Drill Team shows new talents; Homecoming festivities prove to be greatest success, including floats, hush day, Mr. Irresistible, Baby Face Day, Orange and Grey Day, snake dance through town, serpentine in the park, Crowning of Queen Carol, and big, mud- dy game with Paso.

Mean- while, down in the basement up on the roof, all over the campus, the custodial staff keeps the plant operating. And in snack bar 81 cafeteria the cafeteria staff keeps us fed 81 happy.
