Holy Redeemer College and Seminary HOLY REDEEMER Both College and Seminary, Holy Redeemer prepares young men for priesthood in the missionary Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer CC.Ss.R.J. Students from every pa1't of English-speaking Canada and Redemptorist missions in Japan study for their B.A., attending classes both at Holy Redeemer and the other colleges of the University. In addition to their B.A., students pursue an additional 4 years of study in Theology, Sacred Scripture, Church Law, Ecclesiastical History, Liturgy and Sacred Eloquence. As graduates of Assumption University Holy Redeemer they will be posted for missionary work to all parts of Canada, to Japan, or to graduate studies in universities here and abroad. The staff at Holy Redeemer comprises 6 professors in the theology faculty and 7 in the philosophy and arts department. Three of the latter are graduates of Assumption. Very Rev. Gerard Owens, C.Ss.R., and Father Edward Crowley, C.Ss.R. teach also at University College.
