The aim is to create a more intell- igent appreciation ot the problems current in the field. One of the club's main aids is the opportunity to hear distinguished men in the field speak on the problems. The English Maiors' Club was formed this year on cam- pus to promote interest outside of the classroom in curr- ent literature. Throughout the year, the club strove to acquaint the students of chemistry with the practical aspects of their formal courses.
