JENNIFER OWSLEY I am an exchange teacher I am a Physical Education teacher at the Aspen Elementary school and the Aspen High school. I arrived in Aspen in August with the Fulbright Exchange My hometown is Bnston. England. I have a husband named Richard. Since my hometown is on the Welsh border, they speak a different language. I enjoy tennis, field hockey, swimming, and other various sports. I also like to listen to music and read books in my spare time. The best thing about America is the existence of a genuine summer In England it rains every day. The worst thing is the American tea I am returning in September of 1988 ANA RUIZ GELI I am 18 years old I am a Senior. I arrived in Aspen with the Rotary Exchange students on August nineteenth My parents are Enrique Ruiz L6pez and Maria Angeles Geli Giro. There are many differences between the U S A and Spam The major difference is the drinking age In Spain you have to be 18 years old to drive. The people are very different. In Spam a person almost always lives in their hometown for life. There are not many divorces. I like the school here and I think it is easier here than in Spain. In my free time I like to shot put. go to discos, run cross country, ride bikes and garden I had three years of English before I came. In the future I want to be an English teacher. The best things about America are the people and snow skiing and the worst things are that I can't go to bars and discos Internationals

XELO CARMONA TORRO I am 19 years old My hometown is L’Alcudia near Valencia. Spam This is my Senior year in the U S A but I have already graduated in Spain I arrived in Aspen on August nineteenth, as a Rotary Exchange student. I was very interested m learning English and the customs of the people I would like to attend an American College so it is important to me to learn as much as possible My father’s name is Jos6 Carmona Alvarez. He is an architect and my mother is a housewife. Her name is Mercedes Torr6 Cuc6. I have no brothers or sisters. It will be difficult for me to express my impressions of this country The food, the people, the houses, the high school, everything I have encountered has been different. I enjoy discovering the differences. I enjoy cross-country running, reading books, listening to music, bicycling and aerobics. I am very excited to learn how to ski. because I have never seen snow. When I first came to Aspen I could not understand what the teachers or other students were saying. By graduation I hope I will understand everything. FRANCOISE REMY I am 19 years old. I am a Senior. I arrived in Aspen on the 23rd of August as a Rotary Exchange student. My hometown is Lucon in France My parents are Joseph-Marie and Francoise. I also have a brother named Xavier and a dog named Ulysse. When I got here I was surprised because everything was so different. Aspen and France are not comparable. The way of life and the attitude of the people is much different. I like basketball, dancing, and reading. My favorite thing about America is the school. My least favorite thing is a McDonald’s hamburger. I am returning to France in June. 13
