As we visited the T.V. studios in Hollywood, California, we found that Connette Boga, Devora Crawford, and Pear lie Jackson have each been working on several new movies that are to be released soon. Devora tells us that James Crawford has a very good job as director of one of the new television series. At a restaurant downtown, we happened to run into Willie Hampton, who is now a very successful executive. He tells us that his secretary, Ada Hampton, is also modeling part- time. On the way back home from California, we stopped in Dallas, Texas, where Frank Bradford owns quite a number of oil wells. He tells us that he is financing an African safari for Anthony Cole and Floyd Harris this fall. Also living in Dallas, was Doris Brown, her husband, and their 7 kids. Doris says that she thinks Mac Arthur Evans is considering campaigning for representative from Texas in the next election. As we boarded the plane to fly to Memphis, we were surprised to find that Jimmy Briggs was our pilot and that Gary Daniel was our co-pilot. After arriving at the airport in Memphis, we stopped to chat with Janet McDonald, who is working as a receptionist for Delta Airlines. Janet says that she is still single and likes it that way. Of course, we were unable to talk with all of our former classmates, but sources say that Private detective Earnestine Davis is presently investigating some important case in Paris. Frankie King is president of a large construction company in Canada, and Mike Mann is practicing medicine in Miami, Florida. James Hampton is manager of the ABC Factory here in Ashland, and, of course, Dianne Lacy is busy getting ready for the next Olympics. We talked to some of our old school friends and learned that Mattie Patterson is a leading fashion designer. David Porter and Willie Thompson are making headlines in the newspaper as players with the Harlem Globetrotters. Vera Richard is secretary to the President of the United States, Murray Reaves. Nancy Rumsey is married and living in Washington, D. C. where Tommy Sanderson is now Vice-President of the United States. They see a lot of Nathan Rhea, who is Secretary of Agriculture. Dan Stone is married and Mayor of Ashland. Mary Jane Reaves is traveling all over the world as an airline stewardess. Sarah Richard has taken a big step and joined the Women's Lib Movement. Sharon Tipler is busy as a lawyer and Paul Watkins is making important discoveries in science. Dorothy Tate is secretary to George Woodard who is principal of Ashland High. Bruce Williams is playing for the Chicago Bears and Linda Washington is married and has made her home in Hawaii. This is all the news we could collect about our class, the class of 1974. 12 Seniors ’74 Doris Bullock Brown Anthony Cole Mattie Conley Devora Crawford James Crawford Gary Daniel Earnestine Davis Mac Arthur Evans Gail Hamer Ada Hampton James Hampton Pearlie Jackson Hal Jordan Betty Jackson Kimbrough David Kimbrough Frankie King Paula Cecil McFall Mattie Patterson Dianne Lacy Mike Mann Janet McDonald David Porter Mary Jane Reaves Murray Reaves Rosa Nell Reaves Nathan Rhea Sarah Richard Tommy Sanderson Lisa Sams Shelby Charlotte Simpson Dan Stone Dorothy Griffin Tate Willie Thompson Sharion Tipler Linda Washington SENIOR WILL CONNETTE BOGA wills her brothers, Carlos, Tracey, Antonio, and Eldridge the ability to make her great escape from Ashland.
