PRINCIPAL The steadfast purpose, honest endeavor and ardent inspiration of the Class of Nineteen Hundred and Sixty-Seven has left an unprecedented tradition in keeping with the fine history of Ashland High School. To each of you and your parents should go the credit for the success achieved during this school year. Without your help it would not have been possible. Please accept my humble and sincere appreciation for your assistance and under- standing, during this my first administrative endeavor. My congratulations and best wishes to Mrs. Farese, the staff, and to the student body on this fine production that has recorded activities of 1966-67. 5

COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT To have the privilege and opportunity to serve as Administrator of Benton County Schools during this transitional period of our school system which has never occurred before is within itself a challenge. The recorded events of the year 1966-67 should in future years serve as a tremendous reminder of the transitions which are taking place today. To be in the mid-stream of historical events should serve as an inspiration to meet the changing demands of our time. It is most fitting that the administration, fac- ulty, student body, and parents learn to accept responsibility and adjust to forced and mandatory educational deviations. In closing may I say, Students of Ashland School, set your goals high, have faith in the Creator of the Universe and fellow man. Believe in yourself and you will finish the race of life successfully.
