Seniors Move no Wa : Forward Now we seniors are ready to cross the bridge into lile and the world. Here we are at the highest point ol' ottr school lile-graduation. XX'e begin to think ol' all the bridges we have crossed in the past three years. Only a liew weeks ago we were dancing to the strains ol' Benny CTBYXZIIIVS Orchestra on ottr unforgettable prom night. The mystic and oriental background ol' Arabian Nights highlighted the crowning ol' Queen Norma Grimmett antl King Dennie Skeens. Alter the protn catne the night ol' ottr senior play. The Hillbilly XVeddin proved to be as successlul as the broadway hit. XX'e certainly had success in sports our senior year! NYL- had an undefeated season in loothall and won slztle- wide recognition in basketball, track, and baseball as well. .Xnother big event was the senior minstrel. Inter- loctttor Phil Taylor, ten endmen, jokes, and talent made tlte Minstrel Revue a never-to-be-ltirgotten show. Our junior year was one ol' great anticipation. as we looked lorward for a year to the night ol' ottr lirst prom. XVe worked hard selling magazines to cover the expense ol' this memorable occasion. XX'hat lun we had deciding on a theme and planning the decorations. Finally the evening arrived, and the artnory was translormed into a beatttilul .lapanese tea garden. Unly three years ago, when we lirst entered the halls ol' ,Xshland High School as scared little sophomores, we wondered il' we would make it through. Remember how the big seniors tried to sell tts tickets to the elevator to lourth Iloor and plll us on the water lountains? .Xs sophontores we were amazed at the Tomcat spirit and became proud when we lound that we could be plttl ol it. One ol the tnost exciting and bewildering problems was the one ol which clttb we should try lor. .Xltet a good deal ol' thought and consideration. we linally tried lor the club that in ottr eyes was the greatest. Now alter all reminiscing, we are at the climax ol three wonderlul years.
