When we come ta the end ot a trail, theres always the desire ta laak baclr, to see what we have acconnpliihr ed ta ponder aver what we have lelt undone. In retro- spect we Seniars lee! we have given a reasonably lair account ol ourselves. No one can deny that the class ol '56 had beauty brairi, and talent. ln the beauty department there were the girls chosen lor l2.0.l.C. queens, l-or sweethearts ol the boys' clubs, and thofe unsung beauties dear to the heart ol a very particular male. Brains showed up in the large number ol high honor and honor students ard in the winners ol various scholar- ships. Talent appeared al along the line - in the Senior Minstrel, the senior play, sports, music, and speech activi- ier. Cornpetiton tor the W, W. Sebald Sell-reliance Award unearthed little-lrnown tacts about many ol the seniors. All in all it was a distinguished class. The MacDonalds --ff Jenny and Phil keep time with the music while Jalre fMatt Hayesl plays his guitar in the opening ot the senior class play. John Koslcinen, vice-president ot the Student Council, crowns Ruth Greene and Bill Emnett king and queen of Hi- Lite at the Blue-iean dance. Signing annuals, a big event at A. H. S. is enioyed by every- one, especially this group oi seniors. Page twerty eaht is
