Junior Class Play The first class play of the year was the Junior Class Play, a three-act comedy, Take Your Medicine, which was presented on November I4 I5 l947 The play centers around Bill Jackson a Dr of Phi losophy and a college pro fessor But his fiancee Angela has a wealthy uncle who is pregudnced against professors So when Angela brings Bill to meet Uncle Henry at the hospital Uncle Henry accepts him as a Dr and promised to pay Bill S50 OOO for the first life he saves Unfortunately for Bill several situations happen to arise when he has to play the Dr one being an appendicitis case to which he finally consents much against his will Then there are the antics of the two hospital roommates Dodson and Puckett to keep things in an uproar And also Jack the witty orderly and Dovie Finkledink another patient lt s a wonder the nurses were able to keep order or did they?
