,ILINIQR CLASS PLAY The comedy play, A Date With Iudyf' was presented by the lunior Class December l3 and 14. ludy and her girlfriend, Barbara Winsocket, are determined to beat Tootsie Whiteman by soliciting contributions to the Community Relief Fund' -f the winner to be Queen and to lead the Grand March at the school dance. Soliciting is too slow, however, so they enter a score of contests, using their parents' names. This means of making money failing, Iudy writes a True Confession story entitled I am a Bigamistsf' Unfortunately, the script gets mixed up with Mrs. Foster's speech to the P.T.A. and, being unable to give the speech herself, Mrs. Shlutzhammer reads it for her. The last a t takes place the night of the dance ludy is heartbroken not only because Tootsie is to be Queen but worst of all she believes she has lost Qogie to Tootsie as well Randolph tells her it serves her right for hold ing out for someone more like Van lohnson Before the evening is over she almo t makes a new onquest is mixed up in a near elopment and finally in a last minute mad rush goes to the dance with Qogie to be crowned Queen in place of Tootsie I of 'I .
