Of course, being ultra-modern little boids they wanted every little detail to be of the best quality. So they began their journey seeking nothing but the best from the best. As they approached the big city of St. Louis what should they see but a factory where they lmew they could get the finest bright thread, since it was the magnanimous red flannel factory owned by none other than 2 Charles Baer, Eiquire. From there they flew on down to a Texas ranch for strong fibers of rope and who should they see but the former Colorado ranohwoman, Mary Bowers, teaching the Texans how to milk cows. As they traveled westward over the Arizona desert they saw a lonely shack, where lived Dr. Verla 'lhoms who had discovered a new sunshine element to gain weight Luella Buck formerly f A P S was sent back to Lew York as the fat lady for Barnum and Balls Circus as proof of the astoundlng discovery -'uhen they reached hollywood the stopped to percr on a marble bird bath 1n the palatial grounds of the T l l Sanuy estate which 18 used as ar observatory to watch the hollywood 'stars t aight Unfortunately they were frightened away bv the crooning of one by the name of Jim Ziegenbein who butled for Er Sandy Making a h1t in the same city was a lost cousln of the Sinatra family, Notso atra , formerly known as Bob Sims Appear ing on the same program was Spike Jones featurmg Barbara Lewis as first violinist who owes her success to the fact that she used the long strands of Wilberta Tibben's hair for strings to produce those out of this world' tones At Pasadena thev thought surely they could find some t1dbits t the F F A fPuture Fathers of Americal Fratermty where Patherine Lutton was revellng in the position of housemother A mong her asplrinf young collegiate students was Corl-'y Robinson who had suddenly turned to song writing In his collection is the famous aria 'Got the world in a jug, Lord, Got the stopper right in my hand Also benefiting the world in the same rollege was Professor Raymond Judds, the sunshine prof , who belie es in holding his classes out under 'Old Sol' in hopes, that h1s students will radi ate with 1Dt611lg6!lt answers Reachlrg the great city of Denver our two little friends stopped to have thelr feathers dusted by the famous halr dresser, 'wand She is lfnovrn throughout the society circles by her motto, Fave it dyed by nanda, so 'lvunn' can tell Thls sane c1ty also boasted t o rival journalists from the Ashland class of '46 llllle Pensley and largaret Boydston Viss henslej answers all quest1ons in her branch column of Lhq Lane's while loss Bo dston ed1ts for Real L1fe magazine Whlle flyirg over the plains of ebraska they glided down to watch an lnterestm scene, Harry Varcv, the highway 6 netrolman, stopping that famous traveling saleswoman,Lo1l You.ng,for speeding. She tramels for Swing A Co. whose well known advertmsing sl gan is Swings for your backyard or any conven ent place Bv the time they reached Lincoln lt had grown dark However, they weren't left without shelter due to the generosity of the great sportswor-an, Roberta Burd, who was trainmg racinf' horses along w1th the great grandson of Lassle They learned fron Piss Hurd that Ruth Grauerholz was also living in Lincoln She was employed as head 'baker at Gooch's bread mill ,sat Q 0 Q O Q O,' V O 0 0,0' Q , O O ,lf o Q: o at MJ?
