In constructing the master plan for a year at high school, we see the influence of many builders: the principal, the faculty, our classmates, our parents, and the individual whose life is in this for- mative stage. This annual, then is the record of those events which have daily played their roles in the great scheme of our Future. ,Vg ' Pag'e"f,iffJf'ee Page l'aur As brick upon brick is laid according to the architect's scheme, and an imposing edifice is constructed, so does the day by day routine of our school life build a ground work for the future that we plan for ourselves. -""""l5-X5Y'. tm +?'m,,E' H , , " , X., M , f' 3 - W 1 f -X5' 2 f r X J .. In winning eight out of ten contests, the Comets earned a co-championship with Lexington in the North Piedmont Conference. The regular season began with a 26-0 victory over Chi1dren's Home which was followed by a 12-6 win over the class AAA team, Fayetteville. The big- gest victory of the season for the Comets was a 45-0 decision over Barium Springs. The only two losses of the season went to Lexington by scores of 21-14 and 14-0. Other victims of the Comets in the 1957 campaign were Reidsville, Concord, Davie County, Thomasville, Statesville, and Spencer. Good sportsmanship along with strong team spirit and a determi- nation to win placed the Comets in the top of their class. ..f3.....-..'I. ....--..., .....i..-ns...-. -so-v X - . x fl E' s ' ' 'A' X, Q , ,.T3'f'xg X i -at '-vc., 'Q-N6 BLUE COMETS sz- ,34 4, pf", Q-.2 m ' W Nl Q Fl NS- . : .
