Annual projects include sponsoring the Homecoming Festivities, Kans for Kids, and co-sponsoring a Bloodmobile which is one of the major community services. The SCA also sponsors and carries through many projects within the school to bring about the involvement of the entire Student Body and for their enjoy- ment. Student Executive Council The SEC is composed of the five Student Body Offi- cers, the Co-Chairmen of Principal's Cabinet, the two representatives to the Gas- ton County Board of Edu- cation, the Vice-Presidents of the three Class Assem- blies, along with a Co-Chair- man from MAL. The SEC spearheads the SCA by con- ducting all school wide elec- tions, organizing all com- mittees, suggesting and pro- posing new amendments to the AHS 'Constitution and heading all SCA projects.
