We've seen teachers who felt it was important to lmow about the past, the present, and the future. We've seen young, eager faces trying to find out what education is all about and what they want to do with their lives. We 've seen girls forgetting everything but their dates for the Prom, and we've seen boys acting their best in their formal clothes. We've seen football and basketball games, where sometimes we came home happy and some- times we came home sad. We've seen our organizations where students thought it was worth while to devote time to a common goal. Yes, these are just a few of the things we've seen and now We'd like to show them to you. The Ar-We-Va Marching Band led by Miss Sandie Luetje marched at Watermellon Days, Carrol Band Days, Drake, Buena Vista's Homecoming, and Labor Day. It gave many exciting and colorful halftime shows during the football season. The band selected Miss Marsha Dohse as Band Queen to represent Ar-We-Va at the Carroll Band Days. This summer the Ar-We-Va Marching Band will have the honor of being one of fifty bands representing the United States in international competition.
