DEDICATION MISS DELPHINE PERUGINE, B.S., M.A. English The class of 1971 wishes fo express appreciation for the effort, the work, and time devoted to the students and to Arts High School by Miss Delphine Perugine, a member of the English Department who retired at the end of January, 1971. Miss Perugine was not only an efficient, competent instructor, but a friendly, warm, and patient individual who mony times went above and beyond the call of duty in her efforts to assist us. During our years here, she gave us the understanding, inspiration, and encouragement we so often needed. We constantly confided in her, and never hesitated to ask her for help with our problems. Her confidence in our abilities helped us to progress toward the attainment of our high school diplomas. 2

Miss David is an effective, efficient administrator who combines ability, understanding, and leadership skills with sincere dedication and infinite patience. She regards our student body as her family and is always willing to listen and act on student requests. She can bo friendly when she wants to be and severe when she has to be. An experienced educator, she has dovoted herself completely to meeting Arts High's needs and attacks its problems with courage and determination. She has carried out her responsibilities well and in doing so has earned our respect and admiration.
