Mr. Calvin hot olto hod iumm«r fellowships ot Montclair State College, ot Hunter College in New York City, and ot Renttelear Polytechnicol Institute, Troy, Now York. Hu intereitt include traveling, reading, twimming, fishing, ond working with young people. For two of the four yeort he hot been ot Arts High School, Mr. Colvin hot boon our clou advitor. He hot given unstintingly of hit time to the Clast of 1966. At o result, Mr. Calvin toyt, It hat been challenging but a good chance to meet more ttudenlt ond to gain valuoble experience ' MISS ABOS Mitt Abot it one of the best known mogiciant ot Artt High. Every four yeort the toket a formlctt matt of frethmen ond before you know it the hot trontforrred them into a group of retpectoble teniort. With great determination the itrivet to make each doit her bett. No one can forget the fiery ditcuuiont or the piercing tests which mode Mist Abot' dost an adventure. An avid tupporfer of school functiont, her bright green hat con usually be teen on the sidelines of on Artt botketboll gome. Being the advisor of the cheering squad doesn't stop her from doing a lot of cheering hertelf. Energetic, demanding, sometime! Uriel, but olwoyt un-derstanding ore the thingt we will remember and mitt when we think of Mitt Abot. MISS DAVID Mitt David ot odvitor of the National Honor Society hot brought thot orgoniiotion to a high level of utefulnets, achievement, ond efficiency. Her Span-ith dottet reccivo a thorough training in thot language. Mitt Dovid quotations thot are part of tho opening exercises of each assembly program are alwoyt very appropriate and unforget-table. Her tense of humor has made both her homeroom and her dosses very enjoyable. MRS. ISO Although she hoi been teaching ot Artt High School for only two yeort. Mu. Tto is not a newcomer. While studying here ot an art major, the was editor of the Scope ond the Vigneffe, ond coptoin of the fencing team. Upon her graduation she wot given the Bomberger Medal for Scholarship and wot also given the honor of delivering the salutotorian oddress. She ottended Nework State Teachert College, Columbia University, and the Art Student League. As advisor of the Dance Club the hat introduced a new ond enjoyable octivity to Art! High. Mr . Tso, whose wit and charm have greotly impressed her students, will olwoyt be appreciated by thote fortunate enough to know her. MRS. NEUSS Mu. Neutt, as homeroom teacher of 207, hot managed to cope successfully with these lively children in the mott trying tituotiont. After four years, her spirit of dedication it undaunted and it it, we, the teniort, who have mellowed. Her English dottet were mode unforgettable by the tporkling wit which the always displayed. Mu. Neuss it on all-around wonderful person, a perfect gem. 18
