The junior play, "The Poor Nut," staged November 17, was a comedy of college life with Dick Michel, the poor nut, and Gloria Patton and Caroline Cobb, leading ladies. Other principals in the cast were john Baum, George Richards, Dale Remington, Bob Wilson, and Arthur Doersam. Following a nine year tradition, Arthur Hill presented its annual Christmas pageant, "Emmanuel," December I5 and I7. The play depicted men of all creeds bowing down to the new born Christ child. Principals included Georgianna Chisholm, Gloria Patton, Art Doersam, Sheldon Bloomfield, George Rich- ards, Dick Michel, and Nancy Henry. From a scene in the senior play "A House Like This" LILLIAN NIKOLAI and DALE REMINGTON as the Mother and Father look on while BOB GILBERT, their son, accepts a check from Granny, JEAN BAUMGARTNER. Lois, DONNA CONRAD is uninterested. The birth of Christ from "Emmanuel" shows two angels, LILLIAN NIKOLAI and GLADYS McNElL, the wisemen, ARTHUR DOERSAM, GEORGE RICHARDS, and DICK MICHELQ Mary, GLORIA PATTON, Joseph, BILL FOOR, a shepherd family: NANCY HENRY, DALE REMINGTON, MARY WILTSE, and TOM BURGER, and Demetrius, FRED HAINES. JEAN BAUMGARTNER, IRENE SCHRIENER, NANCY BUCKINGHAM, FRED HAINES, LILLIAN NIKOLAI, BOB HAMMERSCHMIDT, JEANNE HUNT, JANE "ln a House l.ike This" the senior play presented March 23, revolved around the lngal's family especially the twins and granny played by Donna Conrad, Bob Gilbert, and glean Baum- gartner, The play, written by a Saginawian, proved to be a happy senior selection. A little theater which robs the family of time, talent, or property and a green house bring first sorrow and then joy to the players. Students cast in the .lunior League play presented "Ben and Me" in Saginaws elementary schools, May 7 to ll.
